The framing station for steel frame work construction is available equipped with a manual and an automatic system.
Manual system:
In this system the bottom and top plate are inserted manually and held in position. The NC controlled clamping systems positions the studs and clamps them. Then the fastening happens manually through the operator.
The required tools can be provided ergonomically so that the elements can be produced efficiently.
In this way all components are fasted and element frame work is created as a basis for the further processes.
Automatic system:
In the automatic system only the insertion of the components is done manually. After that the loose frame is clamped again in another station. Every component is straightened seperately and connected fully automatically.
Therefor the CAD data are transfered in a NC/CNC programm without any manual operation of the operator.
This station is equipped with several NC axis which enables a high flexibility of the machine. That's why different element lengths, widths and thicknesses can be produced without a changeover of the machine.
This offers some high productivity and repeat accuracy.
Advantages of the automatic system:
- Different fastening system realisable (that means different connections)
- Different fastening images realisable ( single, double fastenings,...)
- Simultaneous fastening of the components from top to bottom
- Flexibility concerning the element thickness through specially developed fastening units for clinching and punch riveting
- High accuracy
