What should I include in my application?
A complete application dossier should always contain a letter, a curriculum vitae with picture and your certificates, as well as any proofs of completed work experience, practical training etc.
Do application time limits exist?
The time limit for applications to obtain a training placement is August 31st of year before you wish to start your training. In other words if you wish to start your training with us on September 2011, you should have applied by August 31, 2010 at the latest.
Can I apply for more than one training vocation?
On principle this is possible and should be clearly shown on your letter of application.
Is it necessary to have completed a work experience placement beforehand?
In order to have obtained a good insight into the day-to-day work involved in your chosen career, it is always advisable to do work experience. However, your work experience placement need not have been at WEINMANN for your application to be positively received.
May I expect to have to sit a recruitment test?
We carry out a recruitment test for the industrial-technical professions. For the commercial professions, we hold application interviews.
Do I need specific average grades?
We do not specify any defined grades which you need to have achieved. We are interested in your overall profile.
